Do your offer primary care services?

While many of the physicians offer services integral to primary care such as annual exams, paps, and blood pressure management, none of the providers are considered primary care for insurance purposes. In addition, none of the providers offer after-hours care, on-demand messaging or triaging. As such, we recommend maintaining a relationship with your primary care provider

Do you do annual exams?

Yes! Physicians in the collective offer female annual exams and men’s physicals.

Can I schedule my child for an appointment?

At this time, we do not have a physician in the collective who offers comprehensive pediatric care. However, depending on your child’s needs and concerns, we may have a provider who is a great fit! If you are an established patient, please discuss this with your doctor and they will refer you to the appropriate physician within our collective. If your family is new to us, please call the staff to discuss 503-406-8748.

How often will I need to be seen?

This depends on your unique situation. Patients with more complex health concerns may be seen every 4-6 weeks, while patients with no concerns being seen for preventative care only may be seen yearly.

What types of testing do you do?

We offer standard bloodwork that most patients are familiar with such as anemia screening, cholesterol screening and vitamin D levels. In addition, we contract with many specialty labs for more complex screenings and functional testing such as food sensitivities, micronutrient testing, hormone testing, etc.

What laboratory do you use?

For standard labwork, our default labs are Quest Diagnostics and Providence. However, we contract with additional area laboratories as well as laboratories for uninsured/underinsured individuals that may provide more affordable testing. If you would like your samples sent to a lab other than Quest or Providence, please alert our support staff or your physician prior to your blood draw.

When will I hear about my lab results?

Labwork is typically reviewed with you, in depth, at your next appointment as we feel it is important to educate you on your results and make sure you understand them / where there’s room for optimizing. Should urgent findings occur, you will hear from our team with these results and instructions on how to address them prior to your visit. If your doctor has indicated they will call you with your results, you will receive a call as soon as s/he has had time to review; typically, within a week of receipt.

Do you take insurance?

Between the providers, we are credentialed with all major insurance companies except for HealthNet, Oregon Health Plan and Medicare, though some of these plans may be billable. If you have either of these plans, please call the office to see if your specific plan may be billable or what cash pay pricing may be. Please note that not all doctors are currently accepting new patients from all insurance companies; you can phone the office to inquire about your specific insurance plan 503-406-8748.

How much will my visit cost?

If billing insurance, the cost will depend on the details of your insurance plan. Please call the office directly for cash pay pricing.

How do I get a refill of my prescription medication?

Please call your pharmacy for all refill requests (even if there are no refills remaining).

How do I get a refill of my supplements?

Supplements can be re-ordered and refilled in your FullScript Account unless your doctor has noted otherwise. You can also choose to set your orders for automatic shipping for future refills.

To ensure you are getting a quality product that contains what the label states, we strongly encourage you to utilize a pharmaceutical grade supplement (unless otherwise directed by your physician). Pharmaceutical grade supplements are available by a physician only and ensure that what you are supplementing matches what the label says. Unfortunately, cosmetic or nutritional grade supplements as found at health food stores are not held to the same rigorous standards. This means you may not actually be getting what the label says. For example, one study, published in the New York Times, noted that 0% of ingredients in the supplements tested from “big box” stores matched the ingredient listing on the label! Our physicians will indicate in your plan what product is indicated for your concerns and at what dosing.

Schedule online or call 503-406-8748 and speak with one of our phenomenal staff members to schedule.
